The Brief
The Park Lane Heights development sought to integrate modern, energy-efficient heating solutions without comprising the aesthetic and functional aspects of the luxurious homes.
They opted for an energy-efficient heating and hot water system, powered by air source heat pumps (ASHPs).
However, a primary challenge was the incorporation of ASHPs in a way that would not detract from the high-end living experience the development promised to its residents. The developers wanted to reduce operational noise and vibrations from the ASHPs and position them in less intrusive locations to maximise outdoor space.
