Polypipe Building Products has kicked off its 2026 college visiti season with a successful return visit to Castleford College this week. The session proved to be a significant highlight for both students and staff, marking the beginning of another year dedicated to supporting the next generation of installers.

Our Technical Training Manager noted the exceptional level of talent present during the session. The practical competition was particularly competitive, ultimately resulting in a tie-break because the standard of workmanship was too high to distinguish a single winner.

During the visit, it was encouraging to see Polypipe Building Products merchandising and products integrated throughout the facility. It is clear that both students and educators are increasingly recognising the advantages of using the Polypipe Building Products range for hands-on vocational training. A Growing Partnership

This visit marks our second trip to Castleford College following a successful initial session in 2025. The feedback from the institution has been consistently positive. Following our previous engagement, Graham Adams from Castleford College commented:

Looking Ahead

The outreach tour continues immediately, with our team scheduled to visit Selby College next week. We are eager to see if the students there can match the high standards set at Castleford.
